True Anomaly has announced the closure of its oversubscribed Series C financing round, securing $260 million in a combination of equity and debt. This funding will support the company’s next phase of growth, focusing on vertical integration, product development, facility expansion, and expanding its team. The round was led by Accel, with significant contributions from Meritech Capital, Eclipse, Riot Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and others. Stifel Bank also provided the debt capital.
Since its founding, True Anomaly has focused on developing autonomous systems for space defense, aiming to safeguard space assets against emerging threats. The company has already achieved key milestones, including the successful launch of its multi-role spacecraft, Jackal, and its software suite, Mosaic, which support operations in low Earth orbit (LEO) and will soon extend to geosynchronous orbit (GEO) and cislunar space. True Anomaly is also actively involved in several high-profile contracts, including the VICTUS HAZE Tactically Responsive Space (TacRS) mission.
With this funding, True Anomaly plans to expand its workforce from 170 to more than 250 by the end of 2025 and open new facilities. The company is committed to designing and building autonomous systems that can deter conflict and protect space for humanity. The upcoming 18-month roadmap includes a series of product development tests, including the third Mission X orbital flight test and the VICTUS HAZE TacRS demonstration mission.

“Space superiority has become a top priority for the U.S. and its allies,” said the company’s leadership. “We aim to be at the forefront of that effort, delivering cost-effective, rapidly deployable, and software-defined spacecraft and combat systems to protect the space domain.”
