The company also unveiled their commercial product line of composite pressure tanks and announced the appointment of Jakob Berghofer as the company’s new COO, as posted by Alpine Space Ventures.
Blackwave’s high-performance components are made of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP). They specialise in Carbon-Sheet Moulding Compound (C-SMC), where the material is pressed into shape using high pressure and heat. The company’s innovative approach to light-weight construction has been a game-changer in various industries including aerospace.
