This new agreement is set to support SpaceX’s Starlink constellation of satellites, providing essential ground-based modules designed to amplify radio frequency signals. The contract, scheduled for fulfillment over fiscal years 2025 and 2026, is expected to help Filtronic exceed revenue and profit forecasts for both years.

Filtronic has already been a trusted partner for SpaceX, having signed a strategic five-year partnership in April 2024. The contract follows previous orders totaling $37.1 million.

The contract news caused Filtronic’s stock to rise by 15%, a high not seen in 16 years, reflecting the market’s confidence in the company’s growing role in aerospace and telecom sectors. The company now forecasts revenues of £43 million in 2025 and 41.1 million pounds in 2026, with profits expected to reach £8.9 million and £6.9 million respectively.
