Global MilSatCom, the longest-standing event in the military satellite communications sector is gearing up for its 26th annual conference, scheduled to occur from November 4th to 7th at the QE II Centre in London. Organized by SAE Media Group, this year’s event promises to be the most impactful yet, with several new initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration within the MilSatCom community.
For the first time, Global MilSatCom is extending free admission to military and government personnel, aiming to host the largest military audience ever, with an anticipated 1200 attendees representing 45 nations, including 500 military personnel. The event will also feature over 100 international and local speakers from industry and government and offer attendees the opportunity to engage with influential leaders through a three-day main conference, topical Focus Day sessions, and the Graduate Space Careers Conference.
This year the conference team will debut several initiatives including the Global MilSatCom SME Expo & Innovation Stage and the Championing Women in MilSatCom Forum. Both aim to promote innovation, diversity, and collaboration within the community. Furthermore, the conference team has created an advisory board, comprising SATCOM experts from industry and military organizations and introduced the Global Connect App. The app will facilitate networking and business interactions among attendees, allowing them to schedule meetings, arrange discussions, and engage with speakers and participants.
