NASA has announced the inaugural winners of the Space Tech Catalyst prize. The diverse set of winners have been awarded $25,000 each to further cultivate inclusive space technology ecosystems.
The Space Tech Catalyst prize aligns with NASA’s overarching commitment to engage talents from all walks of life. This ensures that the next generation of space explorers, dubbed the Artemis Generation, is best equipped with the tools necessary to propel humanity’s reach into the cosmos.
Among the distinguished winners are individuals and organizations who exemplify exceptional collaboration practices with diverse researchers, technologists, and entrepreneurs. Their innovative strategies contribute to NASA’s mission of developing an inclusive space technology landscape and bolster the agency’s ability to tackle technical challenges with creative solutions. Denna Lambert, the inclusive innovation team lead at NASA’s Space Technology Mission Directorate (STMD), expressed pride in the accomplishments of these individuals and organizations.
